MikroTik is a Latvian company which was founded in 1996 to develop routers and wireless ISP systems. MikroTik now provides hardware and software for Internet connectivity in most of the countries around the world. MikroTik Academies (MA) are educational institutions such as universities, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools, and other educational institutions offering semester time based Internet networking courses for their academic students using MikroTik Router OS as a learning tool. MikroTik training sessions are organized and provided by MikroTik Training Centers at various locations around the World. They are attended by network engineers, integrators and managers, who would like to learn about routing and managing wired and wireless networks using MikroTik Router OS. MikroTik Train the Trainer is a training course provided exclusively by MikroTik. So, MikroTik Train the Trainer trained the teachers to become MikroTik certified trainers according to the official MikroTik course outline. In our university, the two teachers at Department of Information Technology attended this training course. These teachers are approved as the MikroTik certified trainers by MikroTik Appointed Coordinator. Therefore, Technological University (Mandalay) agreed with MikroTik Academy to open training courses. University students can register for the MikroTik academic programs of University. Soon university will announce the detail information of this program.
